How to get your students to turn in their fundraising info on time.
If you have run a fundraiser in the past, chances are you’ve dealt with stragglers: The students who forget to submit their fundraising forms, not to mention any funds they have collected, on time. We’ve been running fundraisers for over 20 years and the straggler issue never ceases to amaze us. We’ve heard every excuse in the book. We tell our groups that they must factor in stragglers in their fundraising timeline. Usually an additional 2 or 3 days will cover it, but sometimes more time is needed.
