Who actually supports school fundraisers?
A common question we get from our fundraising groups is “who should we ask to support our fundraiser”. The answer we give them is “whomever you think will want to support your group”. It’s a very obvious answer, but it’s the truth. Especially in today’s day and age when every group seems to be running a fundraiser, finding supporters is a challenge, but a must if you want your fundraiser to succeed. We ran an informal poll recently with our customers to find out who was actually supporting their fundraiser. Below were the 8 most common answers.

The Mom’s Role in a School Fundraiser
Let’s face it. Moms (and dads) are going to end up participating in school fundraisers just as much as the kids do. For one, it’s moms who have that vested interest in making sure the school raises enough for a new media center, or art supplies, or the other good causes that fundraisers inevitably supply. Tips on Promoting a Fundraiser
As anyone who has ever run a fundraiser can tell you, the most important factor in determining the success of a fundraiser, is how well the fundraiser is promoted. Everything else can be executed perfectly, but if the fundraiser in not promoted properly, then the chances of success are slim.
