What Is The Easiest Fundraiser To Run?

What Is The Easiest Fundraiser To Run?

We get this question posed to us everyday. Each person has their own idea of what an “easy fundraiser” is, so opinions may vary. Some may be looking for products that sell themselves. Others may be looking for fundraisers where little time is needed to supervise the fundraiser. If you asked me (which many of you do), I would say our online magazine fundraiser would be the easiest to run. Many of our groups will run an online fundraiser along with a brochure fundraiser (such as cookbooks or gourmet nuts).

For starters, you can start your fundraising in a matter of minutes. No brochures to pass out. No contracts to sign. All you need to do is create an online store, which takes a few minutes to do via our website. You can customize your online store with photos, your groups’ logo and a personal greeting message of why you are fundraising. So after a matter of minutes, you are all set up to start fundraising. All you will need to do is tell your community about your online store so they can start purchasing magazine subscriptions. There is a feature on your store that allows you to enter email addresses that will be sent an invitation to your store. The email addresses are for your group only and are not even seen by anyone else (even us). They are kept completely private.

All transactions are done online. There is no money collection needed for this fundraiser. Your customers will purchase subscriptions online via a credit card. At the end of each month, your group will be sent a 40% commission check for all sales. It’s that simple.

It’s an ongoing fundraiser. As long as your store is active and selling subscriptions, your group will receive commission checks. We have some groups that have been making money from their online fundraiser for a number of years.

Any size group can run this fundraiser. We have groups of over 1000 participants with an online store and we have groups of just 1 individual with an online store. As long as there’s a cause to raise funds and people to support it, than this fundraiser can work for you.
