School Fundraising Resources
The goal of our school fundraising blog is to help educate parents, teachers and school administrators on the latest news, trends and ideas in the fundraising industry. But there are many great resources beyond this blog. Below are 3 very informative and credible fundraising resources.
National PTA (www.pta.org) – The National Parent Teacher Association has long been a leading voice on fundraising policies in our nation’s schools. They have a wonderful “fundraising resources” that covers various topics including fundraising event organizing, fundraising strategies, grant writing to name a few.
AFRDS (www.afrds.org) – The Association of Fundraising Distributor and Suppliers. This is the leading trade organization in the fundraising industry and it’s full of useful fundraising resources. Their “fundraising toolbox” section is of particular use. Another great resource that this organization offers is their “fundraiser tax law” section. This breaks down the fundraising tax laws for each state.
PTO Today (www.ptotoday.com) – A national publication that strictly caters to school parent organizations. They have a plethora of fundraising resources on their website. From blogs to videos to message boards, they cover various topics related to the fundraising industry.
